It was a great night at the Roxy in Hollywood when band Shirock decided to lend a helping hand to the needy.
On March 2, the up and coming band from Nashville hosted “Everything Burns in Hollywood,” a charity event, that The Breeze was invited to, that is designed to aid the homeless in Los Angeles and raise awareness for those who suffer on Skid Row.
The event, named after Shirock’s debut album “Everything Burns,” was a Hollywood send off for the band.
However, instead of charging for tickets, attendees were asked to donate clothing or cash to charity Midnight Mission. In exchange, guests were treated to a fashion show, and two live bands. Shirock played first, followed by Los Angeles band The Daylights.
Special guests of the event included host Michael Welch (Twilight), Joanna Sims (Days of Our Lives) and troop of models.
