When people decide they want to add a pet to their family, they usually don’t think of adoption. Most believe adopting is too difficult and takes too much time, when in fact, it only takes a few simple steps.
Many animal shelters usually ask that the person planning to adopt must be eighteen or older and have identification. The person must either own a home or live in a residence where pets are allowed. The future family of the pet must also bring all the members of the family, including other pets, to the shelter to meet the adopted animal before the adoption can take place.
The City of Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care & Adoption Center is our neighborhood pet shelter, with the hopes of making adopting a new pet easy. They are located at 11780 Arrow Route, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730.
RC Pets Animal Care & Services Department are open for business Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. If you are interested in adopting an animal visit www.rcpets.info and find out more about all the different pets that are waiting for a new home. Adoption not only saves lives, but it gives an animal the opportunity to become a part of a family.
