Beware of cigarette bums

Beware of the people that are always bumming cigarettes. I am not talking about the people who bum a cigarette every once in awhile.

Habitual cigarette bums need to buy their own cigarettes and stop leaching off of others. Smokers--every time you indulge them with a free cigarette--they are encouraged to come back to you again and again.

The owner of the cigarettes will be a lot happier and have more smokes in their pocket if the bum would buy their own pack. Cigarettes come in a pack of 20 at an average cost of $5.50. Every time a cigarette bum begs for a smoke, the owner loses about 28 cents. Now if the bum can’t come up with $5.50, then it is obvious that they need to get a job to buy their own, or quit smoking altogether.

For the smokers who buy their own cigarettes, be brave. Just say no to the cigarette bums who approach you, or charge them 28 cents for one of your cigarettes.
