Getting the game was more exciting than actually playing it. Playing God of War 3 was time consuming and also quite boring.

The game picks up where God of War 2 ends. Kratos is on the titan Ghia, which ends up betraying Kratos and sending him to Hades. Kratos then plots to get revenge on her and his father Zeus.

Some of the things that I did enjoy about God of War 2 were that the gameplay and visual effects were amazing. The gameplay is in a third person perspective. In some scenes you can actually see what Kratos sees.

Kratos basically brutally kills all of the gods who are aligned with Zeus. He also takes their powers which throws the Earth into mass chaos.

While the world is in mass chaos, Kratos discovers that in order to give the world a chance to grow, he needs to kill himself. As he kills himself, he releases the knowledge of hope out into the world.

The ending scene is Athena walking away from her child Kratos. She walks away from her child because he denied her the right to receive the wisdom of hope. The gamer either assumes that the world crumbles and man destroys himself with the confusion of the gods being gone, or man overcomes the confusion and replaces the confusion with hope.

Altogether, the game's effects were amazing, and the fighting tactics were good. The game’s storyline is boring and predictable. It’s a shame to see the game die in flames, but hey, it's off to the next game.
